This policy explains which personal data Depaso collects through this site and the app, what it is used for, who it is shared with and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Data controller
Depaso is the controller of the personal data collected through this site and the Depaso app. For any privacy question you can write to us at soporte@depaso.app.
2. Data we collect
We only collect the data needed to provide the service:
- Identification and contact data: name, email address and phone number.
- Shipping data: delivery addresses, contents and declared value of the packages.
- Account data and the assigned mailbox.
- Payment data, processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). Depaso does not store full card numbers.
- Technical data about the use of the site and the app (device, browser, activity logs).
3. Purpose of processing
We use your data to create and manage your mailbox, handle the transport and consolidation of your packages, carry out customs clearance, process payments, provide support and keep you informed about the status of your shipments.
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent, the performance of the service contract you request, compliance with legal obligations (tax and customs) and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service.
5. Third parties and transfers
We share data only with the providers needed to deliver the service: infrastructure and database (Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), and logistics and transport operators. Some of these providers may be located outside Ecuador, which involves international data transfers.
6. Cookies and measurement
This site uses one essential cookie to remember your decision about the others. Only if you accept, we enable usage measurement with Google Analytics (GA4) and advertising with Meta, which set their own cookies. You can change your decision at any time from "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of every page.

7. Minors
Our service is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if you believe a minor has provided us with data, write to us and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
Under the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP), you have the right to access, rectify, update, delete and object to the processing of your data, as well as to portability. To exercise them, write to soporte@depaso.app from the email address on your account.
9. Retention and security
We keep the data while your account is active and for the periods required by tax and customs regulations. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will publish the current version on this page with its last-updated date.
